Holiday Essentials with a Toddler

Apart from a sense of humour, there are a few holiday essentials I would not travel without now that I have a little human in tow. Here are 3 of my top tips to help those braving the big wide world of travel with a toddler:

  1. Books, books, books! These were, without a doubt a firm favourite when it came to trying to distract Arthur from tearing up and down the aisle of the plane. On a 4 hour flight, we managed to squeeze in some down time from the love of books, which I must say, was bliss!

  1. An endless supply of snacks. I don’t know about you, but I get hungry when I travel, and apparently so does Arthur. He basically ate his way across the North Atlantic Ocean and then all the way to the villa, so snacks were a life saver.

  1. The ingenious Poncho Towel from Boden lent to us from Lisa’slittle boy Toby was without a doubt one of the most used items! Arthur was able to dry off and run around the beach after a swim with this clever design. The fact that the hood doubled up as a shield from the sun was an added bonus, as his hat was ripped off every 5 minutes!
