What we did this month : January

The first month of 2020 has really flown by and we’ve been very busy bees here at bump HQ as always – we’ve had new product launches, birthdays, events in London, and lots of client work keeping our January schedules full!

The new year started off with Lisa and Otto’s birthdays, which saw lots of presents and fun being had! The office reopened from Christmas on the 2nd Jan – and got straight back down to the hard work! We are now back in full swing with all the plans (pretty much) done and dusted for the year ahead – this is always a nice place to be in, now we just need to get it all done!

We’ve been busy with launching Polarn O. Pyret’s gorgeous Spring Summer collection, and also Infantino’s new In Season carrier, which features five layering options so parents can carry in all weather. The new prints for SnuzPouch have also debuted this month – the rainbows are definitely a favourite!

With a new year comes new client projects, and we’ve been scouring Instagram and our database for influencers for several different projects that are coming up for the next couple of months. Exciting times!

Its been a busy month for Medela– we’ve been sending out breastfeeding friendly window stickers to cafes up and down the country, and also starting to recruit hosts for The Big Breastfeeding Café – back on May 6th!

We can’t wait for The Big Breastfeeding Cafe!

We also shared the fab news that Fred is the first safety range in the UK to be fully compliant with EU standards. Alongside this, Bravado’s interesting stats on when’s best to purchase a maternity bra during pregnancy were unveiled and have launched the SS20 collection for Poco Nido – super cute!

Last week, Lisa, Chloe and Hetty went to London Toy Fair to support our client Smart Toys and Games. It was a great show, and we enjoyed showing press all the newness from the world’s leading multi-level logic games provider. We enjoyed a round of 30 seconds with the Progressive Preschool team which was much fun too. How can we forget that we met the Trolls too?

Meeting some very famous friends!

A new client we have enjoyed working with is the plant-based family cleaning brand Nimble, who have just launched into Sainsburys – huge thanks to the lovely influencers who have supported us with this one.

We have also been brought on board to support the inaugural Sustainability in Licensing Conference, which will take place on 11th June at the British Library in London, this event is so inspiring and we especially loved this quote used for one of the promotional tweets:

Every little helps!

Looking forward into Feb, we’re excited to continue our hard work on client plans, celebrate Katie’s 30th birthday, and celebrate Galentine’s Day on the 13th with treats– bump style!
