What we did this month : March

Well what a strange old month March has been. We can’t lie, spending half the month in the office and the other half in 5 separate home offices/dining rooms/bedrooms has certainly not been easy. However, team bump have worked super hard to ensure it’s business as usual for us and our lovely clients, despite this rubbish situation!

March’s highlight was undoubtably celebrating bump’s 10th birthday with a fantastic party in Covent Garden. It was so special to be able to celebrate a decade in business with so many clients, journalists, influencers and some of Lisa’s very best friends. There was a magician and a caricaturist to entertain us, and some truly lovely speeches were made from the team, Jack and Paul Furlong, from our longest standing client, Medela. We all had a magical night, and certainly enjoyed the bacon sandwiches and hash browns for breakfast the next day!

Team bump let their hair down!

Keeping children entertained has been a big focus of our pitching this month, and Smart Toys and Games certainly have entertainment AND learning covered with their fab range of games. Angela Spencer of Babyopathy has also had a busy month, with lots of expert comment being featured all over the place, on everything from how to effectively work at home, to meditating with your little one!

The Big Breastfeeding Café has had a virtual makeover this month, with mums being encouraged to share #mybreastfeedingtip to bring women together, albeit virtually! We’ve really enjoyed reading the tips and being able to share in the fantastic mum community that Medela has.

Our lovely client Mini First Aid has also taken their classes online, so parents and caregivers and learn all the first aid essentials from the safety of their own home – such a great skill to practice during this time stuck indoors!

We’ve also really enjoyed reaching out to sling libraries across the UK this month, gifting them Infantino’s In Season Carrier, which, thanks to its 5 internal layers, allows parents to carry their little one throughout the seasons! We have also been working on something super exciting for Kit & Kin. We have been getting lots of influencers on board to shout about their exciting new launch – all will be revealed soon!

We’re certainly eager to all get back in the office just as soon as we can, but until then we will continue with this ‘new normal’ for as long as we have to. It’ll take more than a global pandemic to stop team bump!

Team bump x
