It’s the end of yet another month of working from home for team bump, and it’s certainly been a busy one!

One of the biggest changes to come from lockdown has been the postponement of Medela’s annual Big Breastfeeding Café. Normally this is an event that brings breastfeeding mamas together in coffee shops and living rooms up and down the country, but with COVID-19 putting a sizeable spanner in the works, we took the fun online instead!

It’s super important for Medela to offer support for mums who can’t get to their usual groups during this time, and we were so happy with how the event went. We had a fab time getting all of the live content sorted for Medela’s socials and seeing thousands of mums getting involved. Lisa especially loved her live chat with the gorgeous Ali Bastian!

Elsewhere at bump, Infantino launched their milestone and memories twist and fold play gym this month. It offers five play modes, including the all-important milestone photo props for all those Instagram mamas! Polarn O. Pyret’s Summer Hereos collection also made its debut this month, perfect for super stylish little ones to get out and about in the sunshine!

The lovely Little Green Sheep introduced the Play Gym Sets into their collection this May – not only is it beautiful to look at with lots of detachable and interchangeable charms for every personality, it is free from any nasty chemicals and finished simply with a natural beeswax so parents can be sure their little one is playing naturally.

Keeping little ones safe was also a priority this month as we launched Fred safety essential bundles, which are ideal for baby proofing every room as they start to get mobile! Much-loved maternity wear brand Bravado Designs introduced their gorgeous neutral Body Silk Seamless colours for May, and our super fun new client, Lazy Baby, celebrated their iconic ‘Just Done 9 Months Inside’ collection – the perfect baby shower gift!

This month Lisa also did some work for Medela Healthcare! Medela is a family-owned company with nearly 60 years’ experience, they are mainly known for their breast pumps, which are used in more than 70% of UK hospitals. However, the brand also has a significant Healthcare division and are really well respected by healthcare professionals globally for their medical technology. This month they have announced a significant development which bumpPR supported with in the UK.

May has also been full of more Zoom pitches and checking in with our lovely clients to ensure everyone is happy and most importantly healthy! There have also been funny highlights this month, especially when celebs get spotted with our clients products – so it was fab to see Ron Weasley pushing a mima!

On a totally different note, this month Lisa officially joined a local nursery school as a Governor, which she is really proud of. Lisa is going to take a business development role, which is perfect for her and she will do her best to support the fab team there. Lisa’s wanted to do something a little different, it’s not like she has enough on her plate running a business and having kids! But, it is a great school, and it will be an honor to support them all.

With June just around the corner, we are busy working on Father’s Day pitching for our clients, and are also eagerly looking forward to when we can all be in the office again – one day!
