‘It’s the most wonderful time of the year … at bumpPR’

Now Bonfire Night is done and dusted, the sleigh bells are well and truly ringing in my ears (although Lisa has said I must contain myself until December 1^st)!

It’s undoubtedly my favourite time of year thanks to the copious hot chocolates, Christmas treats, Bailey’s, movie days, twinkling lights and everything else that comes with the Christmas build up, but it’s also particularly fun at bump HQ!

Our festivities kicked off last Thursday, when we attending the Progressive Preschool Awards, which took place at the Dorchester in Mayfair. Although I got completely lost (due to being utterly inept at orientation skills), I finally arrived and met the team. We were joined by our lovely clients Medela, We Made Me, SnoozeShade and Smart Games, and also Becca from Baby London magazine and Greg from the London Dad. The day kicked off with a champagne reception, followed by a delicious three course lunch. We were entertained by the fabulous Tootsie Rollers and comedian Charlie Baker. The awards then commenced and we enjoyed celebrating the winners and as we were handling the PR for the event, we live tweeted throughout. The evening was topped off by drinks at the Audley – it was a fab evening.

And there’s lots more to be excited about at bumpPR!

Next week, we are attending the annual M&B awards, which is always so much fun. Two years ago, we were treated to entertainment by Three (formally known as much loved 90’s boyband Five) and we were definitely in our element dancing the night away like we were in our teens again. We look forward to seeing this year’s much anticipated entertainment. Here’s a photo of us at the awards last year:

The week after the M&B awards December will be in full swing, which means Christmas overdrive in the office. This will include the annual Christmas decorating (see photo of our tree last year below) and also our Christmas themed bake off. With seven bakers in the team now, it’s fair to say that we will double in size in December. I wonder if anyone will beat Lisa’s Christmas pudding from last year?

If all this excitement wasn’t enough, we are also beyond excited for the bumpPR Christmas party, where will be going the amazing Pennyhill Spa. If you have been before, you will know how incredible

it is! We went last year and I can safely say it was one of my favourite days and was absolute bliss – a great way to end the working year. We will enjoy a treatment, a full day using the luxury facilities (which even includes an ice cave), a delicious lunch and of course, the giving and receiving of our Secret Santa Gifts!

And just before Christmas, we will be wishing our lovely Georgina a Happy Birthday, which will of course involve more cake and gifts!

So it’s safe to say, it’s all fun fun fun here at bump! Much needed before January, where it will be diets galore and adjusting back into the swing of things after all the fun.
